Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Thistle Insurance and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer complaints. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
