Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Harborlight Field Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Salt Lake City supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on food distribution. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
