Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Cedar Wren Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Baltimore, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 392 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
