Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Ironwood Field Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Boston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter reading. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
