Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Bright Wren Arts Center is a cultural organisation in New Orleans presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in visitor services and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on volunteer programmes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
