Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Fernwood Oak Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in loan files and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
