Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Rivermark Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Spokane and nearby communities. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in pipe repairs and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
