Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Harborlight Hollow Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near San Jose, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
