Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Westbrook Forge Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Boston. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 301 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
