Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Nova Umber Farms is an agricultural business based around Detroit, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in packing house output and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
