Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Nest Manufacturing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
