Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Corner Financial and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in vendor spend and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
