Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Nova North Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Grand Rapids caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
