Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Detroit. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on field inspections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
