Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Stonegate Meridian Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Wichita, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in budget submissions and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on public records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
