Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Amberfield Sable Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 449 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on capital projects. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
