Data Analyst - dashboard development (remote)

Silverline Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Knoxville design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in ridership counts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
