Data Analyst - dashboard development (Raleigh, NC)

Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Raleigh, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 86 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
