Data Analyst - dashboard development (Providence, RI)

Bright Corner Early Learning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Providence. What you will do • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
