Data Analyst - dashboard development (Providence, RI)

Harborlight Kestrel Property Management manages apartment communities around Providence. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in unit turnovers and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on vendor invoices. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
