Data Analyst - dashboard development (Portland, OR)

Ironwood Kestrel Staffing Group places workers with employers around Portland. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in onboarding and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
