Data Analyst - dashboard development (Portland, OR)

Foxglove Rowan Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Portland, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
