Data Analyst - dashboard development (Portland, OR)

Rivermark Wilder Markets is a Portland retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Portland. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pricing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
