Data Analyst - dashboard development (Portland, OR)

Bluepeak Harbor Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Portland. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in landfill records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
