Data Analyst - dashboard development (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Forge Freight and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tracking. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
