Data Analyst - dashboard development (Phoenix, AZ)

Cedar Timber Manufacturing makes precision components in Phoenix, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 192 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on tooling. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
