Data Analyst - dashboard development (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Northwind Corner Insurance and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
