Data Analyst - dashboard development (Omaha, NE)

Northwind Ivory Civic Services supports public agencies in Omaha with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 141 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
