Data Analyst - dashboard development (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood West Farms and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Investigate trends in field records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
