Data Analyst - dashboard development (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Quill Farms and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in harvest schedules and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
