Data Analyst - dashboard development (New Orleans, LA)

Amberfield Lakeside Telecom provides broadband and phone service around New Orleans, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 189 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Investigate trends in field visits and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
