Data Analyst - dashboard development (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Summit Beacon Markets Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 180 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
