Data Analyst - dashboard development (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Milwaukee, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 447 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
