Data Analyst - dashboard development (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Nova Ember Markets Partners and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 181 people based in Madison. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in supplier deliveries and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
