Data Analyst - dashboard development (Knoxville, TN)

Northwind Cedar Legal Group is a law firm in Knoxville serving businesses and individuals. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
