Data Analyst - dashboard development (Knoxville, TN)

Lumen Bright Construction is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on materials orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
