Data Analyst - dashboard development (Kansas City, MO)

Bluepeak Ember Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on client orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
