Data Analyst - dashboard development (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Summit Oak Hospitality and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
