Data Analyst - dashboard development (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Wren Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Jackson. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Investigate trends in proof of delivery and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on carrier rates. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
