Data Analyst - dashboard development (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Bright Orchard Freight Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
