Data Analyst - dashboard development (Houston, TX)

Bright Nest Staffing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 156 people based in Houston. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in candidate screening and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
