Data Analyst - dashboard development (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Meridian Legal Group provides legal services in Houston across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. People here care about clients, not just cases. What you will do • Investigate trends in trust accounts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on document review. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
