Data Analyst - dashboard development (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Lakeside Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Hartford working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in service alerts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on accessibility audits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
