Data Analyst - dashboard development (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Redstone Harbor Transit Planning and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Investigate trends in ridership counts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
