Data Analyst - dashboard development (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Oak Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Hartford serving households and small businesses, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on deposit accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
