Data Analyst - dashboard development (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Summit Lantern Learning Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on enrolment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
