Data Analyst - dashboard development (Grand Rapids, MI)

Bluepeak Birch Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on service alerts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
