Data Analyst - dashboard development (Fresno, CA)

Bright Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Fresno. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in carrier rates and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on proof of delivery. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
