Data Analyst - dashboard development (Fresno, CA)

Amberfield Wren Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
