Data Analyst - dashboard development (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Wilder Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
